A name that recalls the restaurant that the father of Filippo Artioli, Oscar, great host, had in Ferrara. The trattoria is a small delicious corner located in a small medieval courtyard, where guests during the warm season have the opportunity to eat. It has a small room on the ground floor and an enchanting little room in the basement where you can see the Roman opus reticolatus wall. It is located exactly inside of the beautiful village of Bevagna, a town so remote, out of time, where the silence is the connection with the rural culture of which it still participates.
In this town, chosen among the most beautiful villages of Italy by the TCI, you do not come only for culture or for the great wineries of the Sagrantino area, but you also come to visit and eat at Oscar’s place, a restaurant that is now a fixed appointment of our touristic area.
Umbria is trying to overcome the fears and damages of the recent earthquake, it rises in its inexhaustible beauty, with the sweetness of its hilly landscapes and between Assisi, Foligno, Montefalco and Spello conquest with its gastronomic specialties and its splendid wines ( just remember the Montefalco Sagrantino and the Torgiano). To this content of charms the city of Bevagna makes a contribution with its splendid medieval village and its charming Piazza Silvestri.
